Draw retro worlds, one pixel at a time.
PixelPulse turns your phone into a full 8-bit art studio — a flexible pixel canvas, a frame-by-frame sprite animator, and a CRT gallery to show it all off. Entirely on-device, entirely yours.
Every tool a sprite needs
From first pencil stroke to exported spritesheet, PixelPulse keeps the whole pipeline in your pocket.
Interactive Pixel Canvas
Draw on flexible grids from 8×8 up to 32×32 with pencil, flood fill, color picker, and haptic feedback on every tap.
Frame-by-Frame Animator
Stack motion with onion skinning, tune your own FPS, and preview instantly as a looping GIF.
Retro Palette Collection
Paint with GameBoy, NES Arcade, or Cyberpunk sets — or roll your own custom HEX palette.
CRT Display Mode & Gallery
Preview creations on a simulated CRT monitor, then export as PNG spritesheets or animated GIFs.
100% On-Device Privacy
Fully functional offline. Zero cloud dependency, zero battery drain, zero paywalls — just you and your grid.
Instant Export
High-resolution art out in seconds, ready for game engines, social posts, or your own retro archive.
Grab a pixel and play
This is a taste of the real canvas. Tap or drag to paint, pick a swatch, and preview a two-frame walk cycle — just like inside the app.
Mini Pixel Studio
Choose a color, draw on the 16×16 grid, and hit Surprise Sprite if you need inspiration. Nothing you draw leaves this page.
Built by pixel people
🕹️ We're a small crew of retro-gaming veterans and mobile developers who grew up tracing sprites off graph paper and dreaming of making our own. PixelPulse is the tool we wished existed back then: a proper pixel studio that fits in a pocket instead of a desktop tower.
🎯 Our mission is simple — hand every creator, from indie game devs sketching enemy sprites to hobbyists doodling on the bus, a fast and honest pixel workflow. No bloated menus, no subscription walls, no waiting on a server. Just you, a grid, and an idea.
🎨 PixelPulse gives you a flexible canvas from 8×8 to 32×32, a frame-by-frame animator with onion skinning and adjustable FPS, iconic palettes like GameBoy and NES Arcade, and a CRT gallery mode to admire your work before exporting it as a PNG spritesheet or GIF. Everything runs fully offline, so your art never touches a cloud server.
✨ Pixel by pixel, frame by frame — PixelPulse is where your 8-bit ideas come alive.
Your art. Your device. Nobody else.
PixelPulse was built on a single rule: what you draw stays with you. The app runs entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data whatsoever. This policy explains exactly how that works.
1. Information We Collect
PixelPulse collects nothing. We do not ask for your name, email, location, device identifiers, or any personal detail. There is no sign-up screen and no account of any kind, because none is needed to draw a sprite.
2. How We Use Information
Since no information is ever gathered, none is used, profiled, analyzed, or monetized. There is no behavioral tracking of your drawing sessions, palette choices, or export habits — what you create is nobody's business but yours.
3. Data Storage
Every canvas, animation frame, palette, and exported spritesheet is saved locally in your device's own storage. Nothing is uploaded to a remote server or synced to a cloud account, because PixelPulse has no server to sync to.
4. Third-Party Services
PixelPulse contains no third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. The app does not talk to any external service in the background, offline or online.
5. Data Security
Because your pixel art never leaves your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database to breach. Your files are protected by your device's own operating-system sandboxing and storage safeguards.
6. Children's Privacy
PixelPulse is safe for creators of any age. As no data is collected from any user under any circumstance, the app does not knowingly or unknowingly gather information from children, satisfying the spirit of COPPA and similar regulations by design.
7. Your Control
There is no account to manage and no data to request or delete, because none is ever stored anywhere but your own device. Uninstalling the app permanently removes every canvas, sprite, and setting associated with it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may occasionally update this policy to reflect new features or clarify existing practices. Any revision will be posted within the app with an updated effective date at the top of this page.
9. Contact
